Admission into MBBS Course in NMCC

Admission to the MBBS program at Navy Medical College, Chattogram (NMCC) is strictly based on merit. All criteria prescribed by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC) are followed. Applications are invited by NMCC, while the admission test is organized and conducted by the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC).

Eligibility

• Candidates deemed eligible by BMDC and AFMC may apply.
• Students who passed ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level or equivalent examinations in approved years with required grades may apply, provided they obtain an equivalence certificate from the relevant authority.

Application Procedure

Applications must be submitted to a government medical college according to the admission advertisement published by AFMC.

Selection of Candidates

• AFMC publishes a separate merit list along with lists for other Army Medical Colleges.
• The final list of eligible candidates is released through official websites or national newspapers.

Medical Examination

Selected candidates must undergo a medical examination conducted by a duly formed medical board. This board is organized under the supervision of the Principal of NMCC to ensure the physical fitness of the candidates.
